Acer XF270H 27-Inch Full HD Gaming Monitor With 240Hz Refresh Rate

Acer ads a new Full HD model monitor to their lineup, the XF270H. Actually the full product name is XF270Habmidprzx. The 27 Inch display is capable of a 240Hz refresh rate.

Utilizing the ‘AMD FreeSync’ technology to enable stable and smooth gameplay, this new 27-inch TN LED-backlight gaming monitor (w/ zero frame design) supports a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and provides 240Hz refresh rate, 1000:1 contrast ratio (100 million:1 ACM), 400 cd/m2 brightness, 1ms response time and 170/160 degree viewing angles. The monitor also utilizes the ‘Flicker-Free’ technology – to give you a comfortable gaming experience and ‘Blue Light Reduction’ function – to reduce the amount of blue light.

Equipped with built-in stereo speakers (2Wx2), the XF270Habmidprzx provides 1x DVI-D, 1x HDMI 2.0 and 1x DisplayPort 1.2 input ports. The Acer XF270Habmidprzx is available now for around 57,000 Yen (about $524). [Product Page]

Okay, going down to around $500, almost good. Nah, just joking, $500 for 1080p TN is still terrible, doesn't matter if it's 240hz. Unless they drop $300, I don't see anyone but fanatics buying them. Hell I'm sure $1500 monitors sell better.
P.S. just saw the new forum design, looks dope.

1080p isn't enough at 27". 1440 is the minimum really.

Older games. Higher max refresh is always good even if you can't reach it.
