Acer spotted XR383CUR spotted on Taobao (165 Hz / 3840 x 1600)
The Acer Predator XR383CUR surfaced on the Chinese webshop Taobao. It is a 38-inch ultrawide gaming monitor with a 2500R curvature and a unique resolution of 3,840 x 1,600 pixels that has a curvature of 2500R. Additionally, the NanoIPS panel used has an aspect ratio of 21:9, in addition to having a refresh rate of 165 Hz.
The monitor's 1 ms gtg reaction time and compatibility for both FreeSync and G-Sync make it an excellent choice for gamers. The screen has an average brightness of 450 nits and has been certified for HDR600 color gamut. In terms of color gamut, the manufacturer promises 95 percent coverage of the dci-p3 spectrum, with an average color error (delta-e) of less than one, according to the product page.
The connectivity options include two USB 3.0 type-a connectors and one USB 3.0 type-c port. This later component must be capable of supplying up to 65 watts of power to peripheral devices. The image is delivered by two HDMI 2.1 connectors and a single displayport 1.4 connector, while the sound is provided by a 3.5mm audio jack and two 7W speakers.
It is also possible to tilt, spin, and modify the height of the stand as well. Because it is attached with a quick release mechanism, it may be rapidly withdrawn in order to make way for a vesa 100 bracket if necessary. Pre-orders for the XR383CUR are presently available for 13,000 yuan, which is equivalent to 1,712 euros. Although the release date on Taobao is listed as October 20, it is unclear whether or not the product will make its way to the European market.

I have the Alienware equivalent of this. The AW3821DW - The resolution is not that unique, and the Alienware and this Acer unit probably both use the LG panel from the LG Ultra Gear 38GL950G-B which is also a 3840*1600 @ 144Hz. It requires a beefy card to run it properly so 6900XT/6800XT or 3090/3080 Ti

The difference is on the old ones, your'e limited to 120hz@10-bit, since this is HDMI 2.1, should be able to do the full spec at 10-bit. Then again id rather have the g-sync module ^^
