24K Gold-plated version of the Playstation 5 Goes on Preorder

A product that has yet to be released already is making bling, a 24K Gold-plated version is to stun a number of people. It'll cost "at least a few thousand dollars, or more."

United Kingdom-based Truly Exquisite revealed its 24K Gold take on the next-gen console. The customizer also noted it is preparing Platinum and 18K Rose Gold options despite no mockups being shown. Set to come complete with a matching headset and controller, the upgrades see the precious metals take over the white panels found on the PS5.

Truly Exquisite CEO Kunal Patel said: " The long awaited and much anticipated Sony Playstation 5 just got even better! Truly Exquisite are proud to announce that we bring to you yet another release first...this time it will be in the form of the brand new Sony PS5...available to buy in luxury 24K Gold, Platinum and also 18K Rose Gold finishes. We can not wait to start custom making these true beauties. Stay tuned and register your interest as we will have more information of pre orders and distribution soon. ”

Although no release info or pricing has been made available, head over to Truly Exquisite to learn more and register your interest. You better hurry, I hear only a hundred of these are planned.

So it's safe to say PS5 has gone gold now.

I don’t think Sony will have a heat issue this time around. They made a point to say they set a TDP target and won’t go past it. That means the cooling solution will have a 100% known max and cooling it should be easy. Unlike M$ with the fixed clock and a power draw that could spike and fluctuate.
