ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1080 Ti AMP Extreme Core Edition

Hey now, this one slipped right past me as the product is already available since week 1 of May, however Zotac never announced it. Well okay, ZOTAC 'recently' released the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti AMP Extreme Core Edition. The card sits inbetween the AMP and AMP Extreme.

The AMP Extreme Core is clocked at a base frequency of 1607 MHz and can boost to 1721 MHz. The memory clocks in at 11.2 Ghz (effective data-rate).

Climb onto a newer flagship with the ultimate hardware. The ZOTAC GeForce® GTX 1080 Ti is the new flagship gaming graphics card, based on the award-winning NVIDIA Pascal™ architecture. It is packed with an incredible amount of cores and buffed with 11GB of ultra-fast GDDR5X memory, and the sheer force combines to deliver unprecedented gaming performance.

  • IceStorm Cooling
  • Metal ExoArmor with wraparound backplate
  • FREEZE Fan Stop
  • 2 x PowerBoost
  • SPECTRA LED Lighting System
  • 16 + 2 power phases

Here in the EU the card sells for roughly € 829,-

I've only ever had to RMA one card....a zotac one, And zi had to RMA 3 or 4 times...I don't know if they sent me second hand cards or what but n it was as a nightmare. Given that review sites seem to have blackballed them and that their extended warranties seem to not apply in places like U.S and AUS....i think staying away from zotac is a good move

I'm currently using the Zotac 980ti amp extreme. had zero issues with it and had it since it first came out. I assume it's like with any product some just are DOA or have some defect no one could have seen. matter of luck about some of these products since nothing is perfect, and all companies should be taken with a grain of salt.
