Zotac GeForce GTX 1080 Ti models (clock-speeds update)

Zotac GeForce GTX 1080 Ti models (clock-speeds update)

These are the upcoming ZOTAC GTX 1080 TI AMP Extreme, ZOTAC GTX 1080 TI AMP Edition and ZOTAC GTX 1080 TI. We can now share the new Zotac models including a few renders and photos, check it after the break.

ZOTAC GTX 1080 TI AMP Extreme (ZT-P10810C-10P)

This card will see a new triple-fan AMP cooled IceStorm based and metallic ExoArmor product with a custom backplate. his model has custom PCB with 16+2 phase design. The clock speeds however are not confirmed by ZOTAC.

ZOTAC GTX 1080 TI AMP Edition (ZT-P10810D-10P)

Just two fans yet again a 16+2 phase design. This card will be less aggressively clocked than Extreme.

ZOTAC GTX 1080 TI (ZT-P10810B-10P)

And then there will be the more cost effective solution from Zotac, still a  custom designs. The Geforce GTX 1080 Ti is the new high-end product that features 3584 CUDA Cores, 224 Texture Units, a 352-bit memory controller and 11 GB of GDDR5X memory. The card should be faster than a reference Titan X and 30% faster compared to a GTX 1080.The card has the same "GP102" GPU as the TITAN X Pascal, the GTX 1080 Ti but was slighty cut-down. Interesting is the 352-bit with GDDR5X memory interface, this was not expected. This translates to 11 memory chips on the card which run at 11 GHz (GDDR5X-effective), the memory bandwidth is 484 GB/s.

Specs for these cards just came in.

  • GTX 1080 Ti Founders Edition - $699 1480/1582/11010 MHz (Base/Boost/Memory).
  • GTX 1080 Ti Blower (model: ZT-PT10810B-10P) - $699 1480/1582/11010 MHz (Base/Boost/Memory).
  • ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1080 Ti AMP! Edition (ZT-PT10810D-10P) 1569 MHz core, 1683 MHz GPU Boost and 11 GHz (GDDR5X-effective) memory.
  • ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1080 Ti AMP! Extreme Spectre Edition (ZT-PT10810C-10P). Now this one is tricky, it is stated that the card would do a 1645 MHz core with a 1751 MHz GPU Boost and 11.2 GHz (GDDR5X-effective) memory. That is high, VERY high. So we'll just have to wait and see if that info is correct. The board power is rated at 320W, and that indicates that Zotac is applying some high voltage at ther GPU.

Zotac has not revealed pricing for the AMP! series cards, we expect to receive one next week for review.

Hilbert, there are holes in the backplate but are there enough for you? :)

And is my memory playing tricks or did there used to be a longer time between the announcement of a new card and the release of partner cards like these?

This year its different, Nvidia releases "their" version together with partners at same time.

However I won't touch any air cooled cards anymore. The benefits of AIO are simply amazing, longer life span, quiet, better overclock, stable clocks, careless gaming without having to worry about "enabling extra settings which might result in temps rising by 10c".

And yet still no AIO versions announced. Do hope that MSI will come with it, as of now they haven't yet announced their 1080Ti lineup, so technically it might include AIO version ( like one i have ) right away. Fingers crossed.

I'm currently on an EVGA 980Ti Hybrid, and I'm not coming back to air either. But I'm building a Ryzen rig, selling off the current one as is, so I need a GPU ASAP. I'm 90% decided on getting the cheapest 1080Ti FE and slapping the EVGA Hybrid kit on it (with the stock blower, so just dismantling a bit and screwing on the waterblock).

Not really announced, but this was posted on the GERMAN MSI's facebook page.
