ZALMAN Z8 Mid Tower series with door type tempered glass panel

ZALMAN releases a new model of middle tower PC case. The lineup includes the base model "Z8" , the "Z8 MS" with an RGB fan on the front, and the "Z8 TG" with tempered glass on the front .

A door-type tempered glass panel with hinges is used on the left side of each. The back wiring space is equipped with an inner panel that can store cables together. As for the cooling fan, front 120mm fan x 3 ("Z8 MS" and "Z8 TG" are RGB fans) and rear 120mm x 1 are standard equipment. A maximum of 120mm / 140mm x 3 front, 120mm / 140mm x 2 top, and 120mm x 1 rear can be installed.

In addition, the water-cooled radiator can mount 120mm at the front, 280mm at the top, and 120mm at the rear. A cooling option that emphasizes air cooling is adopted.

The drive bay layout consists of 2 3.5-inch / 2.5-inch shared bays and 4 2.5-inch bays, with 7 expansion slots. It supports a graphics card with a total length of 350 mm, a CPU cooler with a total height of 162 mm, and a power supply unit with a maximum depth of 180 mm.

Compatible form factors are E-ATX (up to 280 mm wide) / ATX / MicroATX / Mini-ITX. The front I / O is equipped with USB3.0 x 2, USB2.0 x 1, and audio input / output. The external dimensions are width 212 mm, depth 460 mm, height 493 mm, weight 6.3 kg ("Z8 TG" is 6.8 kg).

What I would like to see is a Full- or Mid- tower, with an adjustable backpanel and PCI slots, for moving the motherboard in height like a kind of motherboard tray, in order to gain more (or less) room for top radiators/ fans. Maybe a c-case with such an "in height- adjustable" motherboard tray elready exists? I couldn´t find one yet. Somebody knows?

edit: some Silverstone cases do have an extendable motherboard tray, but only to pull out the motherboard, it´s not adjustable in height as far as I know.

So what happened with Zalman? I thought they went bankrupt? Was the name bought out and it's run by another company now, or did they come back from the dead... or did I just hear false info?

Speaking of Zalman Z series, I'm waiting for the Z9 Iceberg case (especially the white one) presented few days ago.
I know it's on the budget side but I think it's one of their best designs.
I personally own the Z9 Neo plus(predecessor for Z9 Iceberg). Its old and not so fancy, but with the design and $80 price tag it declassifies the competitors IMHO. ;)

Why can't these "airflow" optimized cases have at least 170mm CPU height, 162mm is barely enough for a CM 212evo.
