Zalman Z11 Neo Mid-Tower Chassis

by Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 10/29/2014 09:09 AM | source: | 1 comment(s)
Zalman Z11 Neo Mid-Tower Chassis

Zalman announced their latest ATX mid-tower case, the Z11 Neo. Featuring a matte-black colour-scheme with glowing blue lighting, the case features a front air-scoop design that's a throwback to some of the oldest gaming-grade mid-towers, from the likes of Zalman, Antec, and Cooler Master.

The Z11 Neo has a black design with a brushed faux-metal front and a prominent front "air-scoop" design. The let side panel has a triangular-shaped window and the sole 5.25" drive bay in the front is hidden behind a sliding shutter.

The upper cage is detachable which gives the case room for even the largest of GPUs (as long as 400 mm). Ventilation includes two 120 mm front intakes (a blue 120 mm fan comes pre-installed); two top 120 mm exhausts (one pre-installed), a 120 mm rear exhaust, and a 120 mm bottom intake. The intake vents come with dust filters pre-installed. Measuring 205 x 465 x 515 mm (WxHxD).

Pricing and availability is unknown.

I've worked in a couple of the older Zalman cases, and they were decent for the price. My only real issue was the difficulty in getting the front panels off, which I hope is rectified in this.
