ZALMAN Shows Z-MACHINE 500 open frame PC case with curved tempered glass (update)
It's rather unique looking, I'll give them that. ZALMAN announced the Z-MACHINE 500 open-frame PC case that uses curved tempered glass (which is difficult process).
The open frame PC case uses a large tempered glass panel with a curved front face. The form factor is compatible with E-ATX (up to 280 mm), ATX, MicroATX, Mini-ITX, and the pump/reservoir tank installation space for the DIY water cooling system is also prepared in advance. The chassis material is made of alumite-treated aluminum, and gimmicks such as the back wiring space, cable timer unter, and bottom cover that hides the cable from the power supply unit are mounted. By minimizing the cables peeking through the tempered glass on the left side, you can dress up the inside of the case beautifully.
The drive bay is 3.5 inch (hidden) bay x1, 2.5 inch shadow bay x1 or 2.5 inch shadow bay x2, expansion slot is 7 stages, graphics card is 400 mm in total length, power supply unit is 200 mm in depth, CPU cooler can be installed up to 210 mm in height. The cooling fan is 120mmx3 at the front (SF120: 120mm ARGB fan x3 standard), the top is 120 / 140mmx2 (SF120: 120mm ARGB fan x2 standard), and the radiator supports up to 360mm at the front and 280 / 240mm at the top. The I / O port is equipped with USB3.1 Type-Cx1, USB3.0x2, USB2.0x2, audio terminal, and an addressable RGB LED controller is also standard equipment. The external dimensions are width 280 mm, depth 630 mm, height 603 mm, and weight 10.5 kg.
A price is to be announced.
Update: this thing is priced insanely at 1000 EUR.

Not a bad looking showpiece case and, as usual, has a price to match.

I will rather have 10 of these, than a single Corsair build.

I suspect that most of us are too conservative for such a 'unique' looking case but I think it looks rather handsome & interesting, I'd cover it when I wasn't using it to keep the dust out but what about noise levels? My new 3080 gaming rig is in a CoolerMaster H500 Mesh case which is a great way to show off your components whilst keeping acoustics at an acceptable level although when playing AAA games like Metro Exodus with RT (without DLSS) & Extreme quality, my Corsair AIO 360 is working hard (and I don't use the OC mode for my 10700K). My ASUS Rog Thor 850w Platinum OLED screen shows 500w or 530w if I switch the 3080 to super OC mode at 1935 Mz from 1905. Using the 10700K in OC at 5 GHz is 560w.
