Zalman CNPS10X Extreme CPU cooler
Zalman is preparing to launch a new CPU cooler under the name CNPS10X Extreme. This looks like it is going to be the flagship of coolers and obviously will bring Core i5 support, along with the regular other AMD and Intel sockets.
The cooler weighs nearly a kilogram and is sized 135x100x160mm. There will be five U shaped heatpipes going through the aluminum cooling fins. Noise production would be in-between 20 DBa and 39 DBa with RPM throttling from 1000 towards 2150 RPM.
According to Zalman the cooler will cool roughly 2-3 degrees C better than the new CNPS9900 LED. The cooler will be delivered with a PWM-controller with three settings. Furthermore you'll get some ZM-STG2 thermal paste.
The price has not yet been disclosed, yet we expect it to be more expensive than an actual Core i5 processor.
