You can still update to Windows 10 for free with Media Creation Tool
Yes very possible and no, this is not the assistive technologies trick. If you are still running Windows 7 or 8.1 and would like to migrate to Windows 10 for free, that is possible. You can simply use the the Media Creation Tool. This is a free application Microsoft offers to create a Windows 10 installation medium such as an USB stick or DVD.
Ed Bott (Microsoft aficionado) spotted that the tool is offered for download on the Microsoft website and confirmed with several computers that you can upgrade for free saving you a $119 license fee for Windows 10 Home or $199 for Windows 10 Pro.
The Media Creation Tool links the current Windows license to the computer, based on the hardware components. After the installation the operating system will activate based on that license. For Microsoft it would be extremely easy to block Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 licenses but the company simply hasn't done so.
As you guys know, it also is still possible to upgrade throught he ‘assistive technology’ trick. However Microsoft announced that page will be removed and users requiring assistive technology will need to contact Microsoft in person.
That page is still available though.

You still don't get it. The OEM key works, yes, but you are using it illegally. Same as if you would steal key from university or company, key would work but you would be using it illegally.

Was it a clean install?
I use Rufus to create bootable USB stick with ISO from here
https://rufus.akeo.ie/
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10ISO/
Boot from USB > Delete all partitions on main drive > create new primary partition allowing windows to create it's system/recovery partitions > format main partition > install

already made a thread about it in drivers forum
50% of the bugs nvidia is trying to fix (fps drop, stutteting, flickering) come from win10/dx12 so no it's not "all better"
for gaming it's much worse I played 6 months of 10 then switched to 7 had not one bug or fps problems in games since, you do and believe what I want, I know because I tested it
Your complaint is related to poor drivers from Nvidia, not a result of Windows 10.
