Yields have met expectations says NVIDIA
Nvidia has held the Nvidia Game Festival (NGF) in Shanghai, China to promote the launch of its GeForce GTX 480 and 470 (Fermi) graphics cards and has invited several first-tier graphics card makers, PC vendors and games developers to host several game tournaments for celebration.
Commenting on recent market rumors the Nvidia's GTX 480 and 470 GPU yields are only about 20%, Drew Henry, Nvidia general manager of MCP business, refuted the rumors saying yields have met company expectations.
Unfortunately Drew Henry does not say what their yield expectations actually are. Nvidia will host the GPU Technology Conference 2010 from September 20-23 in the US [via digitimes]
