Xiaomi Redmi 3 Officially Introduced

Xiaomi is the affordable brand next to the big guns in the undustry, offering good value for money in the Smartphone segment. Xiaomi has officially introduced their latest 4G LTE-enabled Android 5.1 smartphone, the Redmi 3. Armed with a full metal body this mainstream  smartphone sports a 5.0-inch 1280 x 720 HD IPS display, a 1.5GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor, an Adreno 405 GPU, a 2GB RAM and a 16GB of expandable internal storage (up to 128GB).

Furthermore, the handset has dual SIM card slots, a 5MP front-facing camera, a 13MP rear-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture, phase-detection autofocus and LED flash, and a 4100mAh battery (w/ fast charging).

Running on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS with MIUI 7 on top, the Redmi 3 provides 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS with A-GPS for connectivity. The Xiaomi Redmi 3 is available now in China for RMB 699 (about $105).

Not sure they'll sell that phone for something around 100$ outside of China. Depending on the price this might be a good deal for dual sim users.

5.0' Screens should NOT be 720p. Ever.

Xiaomi isn't that great bro.... Huawei is much better. Specifically the Mate 8. Better than even my Note 5.

I'm going to import one, first phone I've seen that meets all my requirements, only thing I'd like is a 1080P screen but I'll manage as it ticks all the other boxes.
