Consumer electronic giant Xiaomi is known for their reputation of offering affordable products. And while 1080p /24 inch monitors do not sound that enticing in 2020, they're going to offer one for only 86 USD.

Xiaomi already has multiple PC monitors in its lineup actually, including a nice big curved ultra-wide monitor with 3440×1440 resolution and 144Hz refresh rate, the company plans to further expand in this market under its “Redmi” sub-brand. ”With the arrival of the “ Redmi Monitor A1 or 1A (we're not sure yet) ”, an inexpensive 1080p monitor that costs less than $90.

The ultra-thin bezel monitor is expected to get announced this week alongside a new line of Redmi monitors.

  • 23.5 ″ panel
  • Ultra-thin bezels on three of its sides
  • 1080p resolution
  • 178 ° / 178 ° viewing angles
  • Maximum brightness of 250 cd / m²
  • 60Hz refresh rate

I stopped playing with Xiaomi products. Rather something reliable with 30$ over top.

Interesting, if it is possible to hang it on a VESA mount these monitors would be my next go to for office systems building.

I think the number of DP ports on the grapics card, and the screen rig are the limiting factor in using 4 screens of this size. I rather just buy the cheapest 40-50" 4K TV I can find and get a borderless screen area, less cables and more ease of setup.

One can already find good deals on 24" from quality brands for around the same price (in Euros)
