This week first announced in May, marks the official European launch of Xiaomi's P1 range of 4K TVs with Android 10.

These are affordable mid-range LCD TVs in sizes ranges from 32 to 55 inches. China's Xiaomi entered the European TV market in late 2019, starting with Germany, Russia and Spain. It has since expanded to more countries such as Italy and Nordics. The company is now expanding its line-up in Europe with the mid-range P1 models, in addition the previously announced high-end Q1 model. P1 and Q1 are also available in regions such as Asia.

The TVs come in 43, 50, and 55 inches with 4K resolution, 50/60Hz LCD panels, Android TV 10, and HDMI 2.1's eARC supported on HDMI 2.0 ports. The 32-inch model has 768p resolution and Android TV 9. The TVs feature software support for HDR10+ and Dolby Vision but do not have the hardware to produce HDR pictures. LED local dimming is reserved for Xiaomi's more expensive Q1 model. Like TCL, Xiaomi has partnered with Google to launch official Android TVs in Europe, which includes built-in Chromecast, Assistant, Google Play, and more. In its home market of China, it is using a fork of Android (AOSP) with its own user interface. Xiaomi's P1 TVs are available now in select European countries for €300 (32"), €500 (43"), €600 (50"), and €700 (55").
