Xeon w9-3495X in Extreme OC Consumes 1900W at 5.5GHz

Elmor and ASUS Overclock the Xeon w9-3495X: Setting a New Record in Cinebench R23. The Xeon w9-3495X, equipped with 56 cores however require extreme cooling methods due to the hardware being operated well beyond its efficient operating window.

Elmor, one of ASUS's trusted overclockers, recently released a video showcasing an overclocked version of the Xeon w9-3495X. The aim was to set a new record in Cinebench R23. Elmor and the team utilized an ASUS Pro WS W790E-SAGE SE, eight modules of G.Skill Zeta R5 DDR5 R-DIMM, and two Superflower Leadex power supplies, each rated at 1,600 W. The amount of power consumed by the processor, at nearly 1,900 W, necessitated the use of two high-powered 1,600 W power supplies. The processor was run at a clock speed of 5.5 GHz and maintained a temperature of around -95°C. The overclocking attempt yielded a score of 132,220 points, which is slightly lower than the current first-place record of 132,484 points. Nonetheless, the impressive performance demonstrates the potential of the Xeon w9-3495X when pushed to its limits with adequate cooling measures.

That could possibly heat a small home or apartment. Could be a bargain heating system.

Instead of all those people wasting time pouring liquid nitrogen on computer equipment, why not use all that energy to invent something of your own? Look cpu cold run more!
