And that news is derived from Matt Hargett, who worked for several months as a lead engineer on the Playstation 5 team. he has made some bold statements about the Xbox Series S in response to a tweet from Tom Warren who tweeted about it's 20 CUs in that console.

According to Hargett's tweet, the console's SOC is likely fabbed at 5nm instead of 7nm. The console itself could get a portable form factor unlike the bigger size of the Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X. With the SoC fabbed at 5nm, it is likely to generate less heat gets smaller cooling or a need for it, and a smaller form factor. It is suggested that it might look similar to the Xbox One S Digital Edition, being small in size and making it easy to take to a friend's to play with, or something like that.

According to rumours, the Xbox Series S will be announced at the Xbox 20/20 event in August, so it still takes about a month and a half to see it. There we will know if all these rumours end up being true or not. Meanwhile, we recommend taking all the information with tweezers since they are rumours.
