Xbox One might get Google Assistant, Alexa and Cortana
From the looks of it the XBox One console might receive an update with three digital voice assistants, Google Assistent, Cortana and Alexa. Cortana was already available as long as you had a headset.
The guys over at Windows Central reports posted a screenshot of an option that Microsoft that shows MS will add the settings to Xbox One. With a pending update, according to their source, a menu will be added in which the user can choose to enable Cortana, Alexa or Google Assistant. The user then has to install the necessary files for each individual voice assistant.
"Microsoft dropped the ball on Cortana's potential, pivoting her away from consumer capabilities and more into the productivity arena. As such, Cortana will soon be an "app" for Amazon Echo and probably other connected speakers, although she is available in a dedicated US-only speaker built by Harman/Kardon, called the Invoke. It looks like Microsoft is allowing Amazon and Google to step up to give us back some of those voice-assisted dedicated microphone features too.
As always, plans can change at any time before launch, but I expect we'll see an official announcement about this one sooner rather than later. Former Xbox console marketing lead Albert Penello recently joined Amazon specifically to grow the Echo's presence in gaming. With Kinect out of the picture, integrating other connected speakers with Xbox is a total no-brainer."

I am one of the few who use Cortana and prefer her to the other assistants for my use. I own the Invoke and we got word last year that MS and Amazon would make the 2 integrated and we’ve been waiting ever since. This is the next logical move and apparently will be when us invoke owners finally get the integration we were told we would be getting. It’s a for sure thing it’s coming

I wonder what the percentage is for people who own the console vs people who use this feature.
