lastly, i don't have a dog in this hunt and don't plan on buying either since neither console has the power to play ALL their games at 1080p without heavily sacrificing LOD and texture quality like the PS4 version of Battlefield 4. God it looks like hell.

It looks fine. Regardless, it's better than the XBOX One version. Same or better LODs, same or slightly better textures and because the resolution is higher, it's noticeably sharper in a side by side comparison.
