Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus Free Trial Starts Today

Bethesda are happy to announce a free trial for Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus. Starting today players can download the free trial on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, and play through the entire first level of the game.

Should players choose to upgrade to the full version of the game, their save data will carry over.

Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus launched on October 27 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, to widespread praise from the critics and community.

Wolfenstein II sends players to Nazi-controlled America on a mission to recruit the boldest resistance leaders left. Players will fight the Nazis in iconic locations such as small-town Roswell, New Mexico, quarantined New Orleans, and a post-nuclear Manhattan. Armed with an impressive arsenal of fully upgradeable retro sci-fi weaponry, including the all-new Dieselkraftwerk, players can unleash new abilities to blast through legions of advanced Nazi soldiers and über soldiers in this definitive first-person shooter.

Check out our performance analysis here.

Does the game not contain an enemy in the German version? or they are called something else?

That would be a bit strange....

Yes, they are officially not Nazis, but they are some followers (German Soldiers still) of an obscure cult, afaik.
At least with the previous Wolfenstein games, they weren't Nazis but something else. Of course, their signs also were not swastikas but that Wolfenstein logo instead (even different textures!).

It's odd because in movies, literature, and arts, it's allowed to use the symbols if the context is right, just not with video games in Austria / Germany.

The game is currently 50% off. For a less than a month old title, that is strange.

I hope more developers make a comeback with demos.

Means i don't have to pirate a game to test it.

And i think a Demo will boost sales.
