Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008 SP2 RTM

It seems that Microsoft finally finished work on their service pack two for Windows Vista and Server 2008. As was reported by several sources, SP2's version string is 6.0.6006.18005 and was leaked in both 32-bit and 64-bit flavors, already.

The full 36 language supporting standalone installer of the 32-bit version appears to be 475 MB, while the 64-bit version weighs in at 745 MB. The official release date of SP 2 can be expected to be announced by Microsoft later this week. Users upgrading to SP2 are required to have SP1 installed prior.
