Windows Mobile 6.5 Finished
Using the popular free social networking and micro-blogging web site Twitter, the Microsoft Developer Experience Team announced the completion of Windows Mobile 6.5: "For the record, Windows Mobile 6.5 is DONE... complete... looks really good IOHO and every bit functional."
Formally introduced to the world at the Mobile World Congress in February by Steve Ballmer, an official release date for the new OS was not mentioned so far, though. Emerging details seem to confirm that Windows Mobile 6.5 is optimized for touch screens, offers "a richer browsing experience", and introduces new features like "Windows Marketplace for Mobile, a new marketplace that will provide direct-to-phone mobile applications and can be accessed from both the phone and the Web."
