Windows 7 RC - Fully Functional For a Whole Year

by Thorsten Finck on: 05/02/2009 03:35 AM | source: | 0 comment(s)

We already reported that the release candidate (RC) of Windows 7 is going to be released to the public on May 5th, and that date is still valid, but the good news today are that this RC will be fully functional for more than a whole year. Yup, you read that right. Microsoft confirmed that the Windows 7 RC does not expire until June 1, 2010. That's a full 13 months of free Windows 7 experience. Pretty cool, if you ask me.
