A Windows Insider tester (Windows 11) identified a bevy of secret features that could potentially be added to the operating system's future edition.

One of these capabilities displays our PC's environmental impact. These features have not yet been officially announced, however it is believed that they will be announced in the near future.

Albacore, a Twitter user, discovered the hidden functions of Windows 11. The Windows 11 settings have a secret sustainability component that assigns PCs a green score based on their energy efficiency. Many details about this feature are currently unavailable because it is not even fully functioning in the build of Windows 11 being evaluated by Albacore at this time.

Additionally, the sustainability section contains energy-saving suggestions that should help improve the PC's performance while also making it more environmentally friendly. As seen in the illustration, there are five segments labeled "Conserve Energy." As your environmental score grows, the green on these sheets should gradually fill in. This is designed to give a rough idea of a score between 1 and 5, rather than providing a percentage or numerical number for the purposes of our system's consumption of the information. We'll have to wait and see how it performs in real-world situations.
