Windows 10 October Update Version 1809 re-released
Microsoft's Windows 10 October 2018 Update has seen a bit of a difficult start, users started upgrading and found that their files were being deleted. Just four days later, the firm pulled the update from Windows Update.
Microsoft is now re-releasing Windows 10 version 1809. This news comes after users reported a couple of weeks ago that extracting a ZIP file no longer provides a dialog asking if you want to overwrite a file. As the issue of files actually being deleted, this was reported in the Feedback Hub months before the initial release. The firm made the following change to the Windows 10 update history page for version 1809:
On November 13, 2018, we will begin the re-release of the Windows 10 October Update (version 1809), Windows Server 2019, and Windows Server, version 1809. We encourage you to wait until the feature update is offered to your device automatically.

No thanks. I would be at 1803 for the foreseeable future. MS QA process is one of the worst in the software industry and its saddening to see MS uses their product users as guinea pigs.

Hmmm. Going to wait a bit before installing this one. I rushed to update to 1809v1 and suffered USB intermittent disconnects
Felt that W10 was really nice even versus MacOS but colder now...

Well is not better than macOS at all, not even far.
But this apart, i installed 4 days ago the 1809 iso i downloaded with a tool.
Should i get an update or i should reinstall from scratch?
(i just experienced the USB disconnect myself, i wonder why they cannot provide a changelog that make sense, with what they change and where, even if is 100 pages to read )
