ViewSonic XG2703-GS G-Sync Gaming Monitor

ViewSonic released their XG2703-GS G-Sync Gaming Monitor. The 27-inch IPS based monitor comes with a 2560×1440 resolution. panel. IPS wise it can manage 165hz (with DisplayPort 1.2a) refresh rate with 4ms GTG response time. Screen brightness is 300 cd/m2 with a static contrast ratio of 1000:1.

The display offers Ultra Low Motion Blur Technology (ULMB) for reduced image ghosting, and Dark Color Enhancement for increased detail and visibility in dark scenes. The XG2703-GS has an OSD with 6-axis color control.

Minitor out and input wise you'll spot 1x HMDI and 1x DisplayPort 1.2 (required for the 165hz refresh rate). Other connections include 2x USB 2.0 and 2x USB 3.0 ports. The stand offers pivot, height, swivel, and tilt adjustments and the screen comes with VESA mounts (100 x 100mm). For more information on both models, check ViewSonic’s official website.

Meh... I can almost bet it uses the same AU Optronics panel as ASUS/Acer which is a hit/miss when it comes to backlight bleeding etc.

Seriously, with such a price tag, these monitors should have a unbeatable quality, and they are far from it. :(

Yeah, it's stupid. I went through multiple PG278Q's and two Acer XB270HU's to find one with minimal bleed. I don't really care how much they inflate the cost to cover the defective screens -- I want to know that when I'm buying a $600+ monitor it's fairly flawless.

Still no OLED and glossy screens :(

I pass another grainy screen with poor IQ
Dell and LG are coming soon with OLED displays anyway.

Yeah but they will cost around $4000

If they could do this but at something like $300-400, I'd take one :)
