ViewSonic VX2880ml 3840x2160 Ultra HD Display

ViewSonic announces the VX2880ml 4K2K multimedia display. The VX2880ml is a 28-inch display with 3840x2160 Ultra HD resolution delivering a premium visual experience. The ideal solution for CAD power-users, digital 4K content development, and other digital design applications, the VX2880ml also ensures future-proof connectivity to connect to PCs, laptops and gaming consoles.

Featuring a distinctive modern stand design, the VX2880ml display boasts the highest resolution to date for a desktop display. With 3840x2160 resolution, the VX2880ml delivers four times the resolution of Full HD 1080p displays. With premium input options such as MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link)-enabled HDMI, DisplayPort and mini DisplayPort for flexible and future-proof connectivity, the VX2880ml also features a DisplayPort output for daisy chaining multiple screens and increasing productivity for advanced multitasking situations.

"As 4K content continues to emerge and entertainment and other demanding visual applications become more progressive, there is a compelling need for premium UHD resolution displays," said Kenneth Mau, senior product marketing manager at ViewSonic Corp. "To satisfy 4K content developers, graphic designers, CAD, and other advanced applications requiring an extreme high resolution, the VX2880ml 4K resolution display delivers the highest level of details in an affordable yet stunning form factor."

The VX2880ml will be available the end of July for an MSRP of $831 (USD).

Typo i think on their site ( lol ).. its 3840x2160 .

for a monitor dedicated to productivity and CAD, the stand look really not adapated.. i dont know if you can up or down the monitor, but well, thats seems more adapted for cheap gaming monitors.

That stand seems a bit flimsy. I like a beefy stand just in case I bump my desk too hard or something.
