ViewSonic offers New VA gaming monitors at 165 Hz in Full HD or WQHD
ViewSonic launched two new gaming displayes that differ primarily in terms of resolution and each use VA panel technology. Both VX2718-PC-MHD (1920 x 1080 pixels, Full HD) and VX2718-2KPC-MHD (2560 x 1440 pixels, WQHD) have a 1500 R curvature, a refresh rate of up to 165 Hz and a contrast ratio of 4000:1.
The 27-inchers offer Adaptive Sync against screen tearing in games, which is most likely equipped with LFC ("Low Framerate Compensation") and thus also works below the regular sync range. The response time is only 1 ms MPRT ("Moving Picture Response Time"), which says nothing about the actual gray change. The ergonomic features include inclination, VESA mount (75 x 75 mm), blue light filtering and a flicker-free backlight. The interface range of the innovations includes two HDMI inputs each (V1.4 for the VX2718-PC-MHD, V2.0 for the VX2718-2KPC-MHD), a DisplayPort and a headphone output. There is no USB interface. The monitors have two internal 2 watt speakers and weigh 3.3 kg each without a stand. The dimensions are 611 x 363 x 75 mm (W x D). To date, there is only more detailed information about the power requirement for the Full HD version: Depending on the operating mode, it allows between 15 and 27 watts. The WQHD variant shouldn't deviate too much from it.
Whether, when and at what price the optically identical ViewSonic displays VX2718-PC-MHD and VX2718-2KPC-MHD will be released on the market is still uncertain According to the data sheets, there is also 8 bit color depth (6 bit + FRC ), 250 cd / m² luminance and 102 percent sRGB.

I read what professionals say. it's ~1500 contrast and one of the best response time (under 4ms overall) and it has ~120% srgb's color gamut. So much for 6+2 bit...and superior to any panel that gives less contrast, gamut and color accuracy, which is what matters. You will buy whatever you want, but you are wrong, ex2510 has worse panel than aoc 24g2u.
AOC also has plenty features that no one wants to pay, but for ~$200, no one cares. You even get a "full dell ultrasharp stand", speaker(s) and bunch of other nonsense, like 1ms MPRT, etc.
you can actually read this: https://www.tftcentral.co.uk/reviews/budget-gaming-monitors-2020.htm#aoc-24g2u

Everyone keeps writing off VA but ignores the fact that the new Samsung VA panels are basically better than IPS in every single way. Now are these viewsonic panels similar? No idea. But this whole "VA is bad" is is irrelevant in the face of VA tech that works.

I don't know how big is your assumption of "way way" but you're wrong. The 24G2U is a 6bit panel with FRC, that for me is a no right of the bat. It has slightly better contrast values but worst pixel response rate, the thing I'm most interested in.
Yes EX2510 has features I don't need and have to pay, but the panel is superior compared to 24G2U.
That said, I can't buy it because it's out of stock.
