Vaio announces new Vaio Z-notebook
Sony Vaio has been sold and ther Japan based company Vaio is releasing a new Vaio Z laptop. I must state, i have always bought Vaio notebooks, great notebooks, lightweight, good specs ... but horrible support from Sony. So let's hope that changes now. The new Z is a high-end 13.3" ultrabook with a battery lifetime of over 15 hours.
The product will get either a Core i7-5557U or Core i5-5257U both with Iris 6100 GPU. You can choose an optional 8 or 16 GB memory and SSD wise 128/256 and 512GB are an option. The matte 13.3" display has a 2560x1440 resolution and can be placed in tablet mode.
The Ultrabook is 16.8mm thin with a wight of 1.34 kilo.

I can only guess they'll be using them giant 15 cell batteries/battery dock to extend the battery, that's the only way to do so.
Otherwise you are right, there is no other way to get 15 hours battery...

Upto 15 hours battery life, a 13.3'' HD screen and a dedicated card? Your money is mine and I want one!
