Users Report Microsoft Surface Laptop 3 Laptops Spontaneously crack
If there is one product series from Microsoft always reaching the news for a reason, it's the Microsoft Surface series, this round users report that their laptop screen is cracking without any real reason or external physical cause.
From the reports, the indication is that end-users with an aluminum-only version of the Surface Laptop 3 suffer from this problem. In the Microsoft forums, employees were initially skeptical about the problems, but since it is no longer an isolated case, Microsoft employees are now investigating the issue.
Reports of this issue are growing. Here’s a partial list of complaint threads:

Wooooow, i'm just mindblown! MS surface line has been a shame at every new device , i had so much desire for this series, now i'm really afraid of buying anything from MS ever again. This is design problem, again, ridiculous for a company of the size and R&D that MS has.

oh thats probably the newest borked WU /s
but seriously, sounds like a hard metal casing going through metal expansion with very little tolerances ends up cracking this glass sheet, what a surprise

It could be too tight hinches, I have seen this before in my work, on some HP and Lenovo laptops.. Hard hinches give you the feeling of good quality but you have to had the rigidity for it.
