Unique 17.3-inch mobile liquid crystal display at 5 mm

Unique (that is the company name) unveiled the UQ-PM173FHDNT, a 17.3-inch mobile liquid crystal display with the thinnest point at 5 millimeters.

The LCD panel employs an IPS technology with a broad viewing angle and a narrow bezel design to achieve a 90 percent screen occupancy rate. In addition, it has a "blue light reduction function" that allows you to adjust the blue light in 4 steps (up to an 80% reduction) and a magnet-type specialized stand cover that is removable. The primary specifications are full HD resolution, 800:1 contrast ratio, 60Hz refresh rate, 6ms reaction time, and 170 degrees of viewing angle. The interface features miniHDMI x1, USB Type-C (for video / power supply) x2, USB Type-C (for connecting external devices) x1, a 3.5mm headphone jack x1, and a 2ch speaker.

The external dimensions are 394.4 mm in width, 243.3 mm in height, 5.0-10.4 mm in depth, 740 g in weight, and 425 g for the cover.

I keep waiting for one of the 17.3 inch portable monitors to be available at 2560 X 1440 but for some reason all of them are either 1080p or 4K. I have a 4K one for now and run it at 150% scaling but I would prefer to just run at native resolution.

i look for another one, but wastn't able to find it, 4K is a little too much for a screen that size, i work with 3D and some of these software suites have a pretty old interface that really doesnt work good with scaling, so i feel your pain :D
