UL Benchmarks, the developers of 3DMark graphics benchmark suite, have reported that a fraction of AMD Radeon graphics card users, roughly around 3%, may face lower than expected 3DMark TimeSpy performance.

The issue was brought to the company's attention by a Google developer who noticed a drop in performance in TimeSpy while using the latest Radeon drivers for his RX 7900 XTX GPU. Despite the inability of UL/3DMark developer to replicate the problem, AMD has acknowledged the issue and has been successful in reproducing it. They are currently working on a driver-level fix. At present, there is no immediate solution provided by UL Benchmarks, except to roll back to previous driver versions and perform another test. As per reports, the issue with the TimeSpy benchmarking software results in rendering significantly lower outcomes. Although the problem appears to be affecting only a small number of systems, it has not been included in the known issues list for the latest driver by AMD.
