UL 3DMark now features a full DirectX Raytracing feature test

UL today released 3DMark for Windows v2.15.7078, This update adds the 3DMark DirectX Raytracing feature test—a dedicated test for measuring the pure ray-tracing performance of the latest graphics cards.

But please note that this new test is only available in the paid versions of 3DMark. In the free version of 3DMark, this update fixes a few issues with the Night Raid benchmark. This update adds the DirectX Raytracing feature test to the 3DMark Advanced Edition and 3DMark Professional Edition and as it turns out, Q4 is a lot about Raytracing alright with all RTX and Radeon series 6000. It is good to understand that the new test doesn't use a hybrid renderer like Port Royal does (a shaded scene with RT Reflections and shadows), no it uses a full try-traced scene to push new graphics cards to their limits. The new feature test is available as a free update for 3DMark Advanced Edition, so that does mean you need to have purchased 3DMark.

The result of the test depends entirely on ray-tracing performance, which means you can measure and compare the performance of dedicated ray-tracing hardware in the latest graphics cards.
