regardless of the hardware, in the end it's just a phone with a dual OS.

cool, useful, but not too incredible, the discovery of hot water was much more revolutionary than this phone. :D

What is this "Fastest multi-core CPU" ?

I see that being mentioned few times, but no comment on what it actually is... ARM? x86? Something else ?

If it is anything like the other Shuttleworth offerings, this mobile will probably crash to a standstill every time a user attempts to launch Ubuntu.

Pretty sure he meant the "Fastest multi-core CPU" available at that time when "they finalize the design". 8C/16T anyone? lol! :D

Although I slightly agree with the another OS on the market, I agree with Year on the Dual Boot thing.

Ever wonder why Dual Boot never got any momentum? Many others and I did it on our HTC Blackstone(WM6.5, Android with Haret) like a LOT of years ago. Oh good times.

HTC HD2 was a multi-boot device. Dell Streak, Nokia n900 just to name a few dual/multi boot capable devices.

Some performed admirably like the Undying HD2 but most were a flop.

Now I really hope the Ubuntu Edge change all that and bring something new, but until then, noone knows. But history shows that the dual boot road what a really bumpy/hard one.
