Ubisoft: Watch Dogs: Legion supports raytracing
As confirmed by Ubisoft and Nvidia at their official E3 press conference, the London-based new offshoot of the Watch Dogs series will support DirectX raytracing in real-time and will feature on Nvidia GeForce RTX as the official graphics platform.
The London of the near future in Watch Dogs: Legion wait with such liveliness and a realism that can only be achieved with the help of real-time raytracing, said Chris Early from Ubisoft. It has been confirmed that DirectX real-time raytracing is also supported and Nvidia GeForce RTX is used as the official graphics platform.
Ubisoft does everything it can to faithfully reproduce the cities that appear in their games. Raytracing will add an unprecedented depth to the look and feel of London in Watch Dogs: Legion. The close cooperation with the Watch Dogs series goes back to the beginnings of the franchise. We are ready to inspire PC players again - this time with raytracing.
The game will hit the (digital) market on March 6, 2020. Watch Dogs will be released: Legion for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Windows PCs, and Google Stadia . In addition to the Standard Edition, Ubisoft also presented a Gold, Ultimate and Collector's Edition at prices of € 99.99, € 109.99 and € 179.99 and the "Resistant of London" collector figure for € 59.99.
