Ubisoft likely to announce Far Cry 6 on July 12

Ubisoft likely to announce Far Cry 6 on July 12

Ubisoft recently confirmed plans to release five AAA titles before the end of its current fiscal year. Four of them we already know; Assassin's Creed Valhalla , Rainbow Six Quarantine, Watch Dogs:  Legion, and Gods & Monsters. The fith title, very likely Far Cry 6.

A recent report from Gamereactor.dk fuels the rumors, ensuring not only that Far Cry 6 is the fifth game, but that it would return to the locations of the first games in the franchise after Far Cry 5 experimented. with a rural American environment that the public did not like too much. The sequel would also be revealed on July 12 during the Ubisoft Forward event .

"The last Ubisoft game scheduled to be released before April (unless postponed due to COVID-19) will be a Far Cry . We don't want to ruin the company's plans by giving you all the information, but we can tell you with certainty that those who did not like the North American setting of Far Cry 5 will find this game more interesting as soon as it is revealed during the Ubisoft Forward on September 12. July ".

Speculation always should be taken with a grain of salt of course. We will have to wait until July 12 to see if we will have a new Far Cry (or not).

Personally, I really enjoyed the location setting in Far Cry 5. It was very immersive with a great soundtrack.

I thought people liked FC5 since it felt different than FC4 which was a copy of FC3 but in mountainous areas.

I enjoyed Far Cry 5. I finished the story and was delighted with it. I didn't come back to do the arcade stuff, the side missions nor did I bother with the DLC but overall felt it was a good complete game. I suspect people's primary dislike for it came from the story, which I thought was interesting enough as it was.

Can't please everyone though.
