Ubisoft Far Cry 5 PC System Requirements
Ubisoft today has published the Far Cry 5 PC System Requirements, ahead of its launch on 27 March on multiple platforms. The game on PC will get extra graphics tweak options. Overall, the requirements are not that bad at all for Full HD and Quad HD gamers. Ultra HD might get a little more beefy of a requirement though.
The Producer of Far Cry 5 is keen that you know the PC version is important to Ubi by stating, “PC has always been a key element of Far Cry’s DNA, and this couldn’t be truer with Far Cry 5”.
The game will allow settings like aspect ration, FOV, FPS locking and resolution scaling can all be fooled around with, “The game will auto-detect the user’s hardware and will set the matching quality preset and resolution.”

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 SLI for 4k@60fps? Really?
Are we really recommending SLI in 2018? Damn Ubisoft, you are really confident in your engine capabilities.

Day 1 sli support is a very good sign

If 1080ti isn't fast enough, then sli with 1080/1080ti/txp is the only way.
They can't recomend unreleased Volta :p
Farcry 4 worked fine with sli

You say that as though Atmos is a commodity... I personally have a hard enough time finding games that properly support 5.1 surround sound. Meanwhile, Atmos is far more complex and hasn't really been known to anyone until a couple years ago.
Considering how long it's taking developers to transition to DX12 or Vulkan, I would not expect Atmos to get any attention for a looong time.
I don't see the 4770K in those charts...

The real question is, is it well optimized?

@airbud7 Yes it is. 4970k is faster then 1500x, but 4770 not faster then a 1500x. 4770 is just 3.4 base, 3.7 boost on all cores. 4790k is 4.0 base, 4.2 boost all cores. Single core boost really is irrelevant with modern games. my 1500x does better in alot of games( a little bit higher min frame rate) then my buddys r5 1600. Granted I have my ram at 2933 and his is 2400, but I do have mine @ 3.9 and his is stock 3.2 plus boost.
