Ubisoft announces Far Cry 5, The Crew 2 and new Assassins Creed
Ubisoft, in a rather sneaky way announced which games will be released this fiscal year. I say fiscal year as they announced Ubisoft announces Far Cry 5, The Crew 2 and new Assassins Creed.
In a presentation of a financial report. Well, that and Twitter. Other then the titles being announced there is no information on release dates and well, anything at all. For Far Cry 5 and The Crew 2 Ubisoft has been showing logos on twitter. Logic dictates that the games will be released somewhere starting now and 2018. You can expect some more details on E3 of course.
Ubisoft has not mentioned the new name for the new Assassins Creed. Earlier on it was already mentioned though that the Origins release will take place in an Egypt scenery, and in fact would be a prequel. In the twitter teaser they state "a New era begins".
You can read the financial presentation with info here.

They would make really good tech demos if they would just bother to optimize it. Ubisoft lacks in both innovation or optimization, although recently their games have become better optimized(still lots of room for improvement).

I actually just uninstalled Far Cry 4 last night.. it is.. how to explain, very........ boring? you just kind of, get lost with no real direction of what you should be doing, that's how I felt about it at least.
For me to buy another Far Cry it will have to be more like an actual Far Cry game "aka" The Original Far Cry Game, which none of the unrelated Far Cry games has been anything like.
Also... lol another AssCreed...

No, it isn't. If you don't remember, the last four games released were Rainbow Six Siege, The Division, Watch Dogs 2 and Wildlands. Where do you see Far Cry, Assassin's Creed or The Crew in that lineup? (And I forgot For Honor as well)

I`d rather have the fluff than a game that is over after a couple of hours.
Only thing i didnt like about fc 4 is the trippy missions.
I feel the same way. Those two guys wouldn't be around anymore after that first stunt they pulled on me.
I have to say, fc4 really brought me back to gaming. I distinctly remember riding an elephant around while hunting for a rhino when i just though, damn, this is so awesome, i can do anything in this place. Gone are so many of the limitations of 20yrs ago.
