TUF GAMING M4 Air, a gaming mouse with an Air Shell structure, weighs only 47g.

ASUS will begin handling the wired gaming mouse TUF GAMING M4 Air for the local market. The mouse features a 16,000dpi optical sensor.

Priced 55 EURO the housing is constructed using the "Air Shell design," which utilizes a hollow pyramid-shaped frame to achieve an ultra-light weight of only 47g while preserving durability and robustness. Additionally, the printed circuit board unit features an IPX6-compliant water-repellent protective coating that guards against corrosion in the improbable case of a water spill or palm perspiration. The mouse sensor is a PixArt 3335 with a tracking speed of 400ips, an acceleration of 40G, a report rate of 1,000Hz, six buttons, and a USB 2.0 interface. Externally, it measures 64 mm wide. 126 mm in depth, 40 mm in height.

Additionally, ASUS is running a Twitter-linked release commemorative campaign in which "TUF GAMING M4 Air" will be given away in a three-person lottery.

I got a Glorious O mouse last month. Big fan of the light weight. It will be interesting how the open shell works out in tue long run.
