It's not exactly a secret that the new Threadripper 3000 processors are going to have to be seated onto a new motherboard, and that will be the TRX40 chipset. The new motherboard will get a new socket called sTRX4 (previously TR4).
The first photos are starting to surface on the web, indicating that launch in near. Aorus already hosted a number of teasers, however, a box shot was spotted of the TRX40 Aoris Xtreme as well as photos of the ASRock tachi TRX40.
