Triple monitor gaming on GeForce GTX 590 and Radeon 6990

by Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 03/30/2011 10:16 AM | source: | 0 comment(s)

We test gaming on three monitors with the GeForce GTX 590 and Radeon 6990. We take the monitor resolution up towards 5760x1200, check out game performance yet also try out quad GPU gaming as we place both cards in SLI and CrossfireX. So for both AMD and NVIDIA that means chucking up quad GPU performance and compatibility.

We'll take three 1920x1200 Dell 24" monitors, configure them in a 5760x1200 pixel resolution on both products and fire off a dozen of games at that resolution with superior image quality settings.
