Transcend Releases 530K SATA3 SSD with 100000 P/E cycles

Transcend is releasing an SSD based on pure SLC writing. Not only does that offer nice performance in regards to IOPS, but writing one bit per cell also makes this probably the longest-lasting SSD ever with a massive 100000 P/E cycles.

The transfer speed is 560MB/sec for sequential reading, 490MB/sec for writing, 83,000 IOPS for random reading, and 88,000 IOPS for writing. It also supports functions such as wear leveling function, block management function, garbage collection function, and LDPC ECC function. Durability is 100,000 P/E cycles and 3 million hours MTBF. It also supports extended temperatures from -20 to 75 ° C, making it ideal for embedded applications operating in harsh environments such as automated computers, machine tools, and fanless PCs.

The external dimensions are width 69.85 mm, depth 100 mm, height 6.8 mm, and weight 54 g. Weirdly enough, the product warranty is just 3 years.
