TP-Link 300Mbps Wireless Range Extender AV500 Powerline Kit

TP-LINK has launched their their TL-WPA4220KIT, a Wireless Range Extender Kit which uses both Powerline and 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi technology to spread seamless connectivity in any home or office. The Wireless Range Extender Kit includes two Powerline Adapters, the TL-PA4010 and the TL-WPA4220. The first connects to your router and feeds network connection through your existing electrical circuitry at the rate of 500Mbps, and the latter broadcasts that connection as a 300Mbps Wi-Fi signal while providing two fast Ethernet ports for concurrent wired connectivity.

Together they can provide network coverage anywhere on up to 1000 ft of electrical circuitry, proving a great solution for multi-level homes and large offices which normally have several hard-to-reach areas with limited wired and wireless coverage.

Users can easily set up the TL-WPA4220KIT with the built-in Pair and Wi-Fi Clone Buttons, which quickly establish a secure 128-bit AES encrypted connection while cloning the wireless network name and password of the connected router. The kit can be relocated for optimal coverage, providing seamless network roaming without requiring users to repeat the set up process.

The TL-WPA4220KIT is available now with an MSRP of $59.99.

TL-WPA4220KIT Features:

  • One Touch Pair and Wi-Fi Clone Buttons simplify set-up and Wi-Fi configuration
  • HomePlug AV standard providing up to 500Mbps over existing electrical wiring
  • Extend 300Mbps wireless connections to previously hard-to-reach areas
  • Two Ethernet ports allow Ethernet-enabled devices to connect to the network while the TL-WPA4220 concurrently broadcasts Wi-Fi
  • Supports HomePlug AV, IEEE802.3, IEEE802.3u, IEEE802.11b/g/n
