Tom Clancy The Division - DX12 patch (benchmarks updated)
Ubisoft has announced a free weekend for Tom Clancy’s The Division. In addition, the French company has just released a new update for the PC version that adds official DX12 support to it.
According to Ubisoft, from December 15 at 10AM PST to December 18 at 1PM PST, The Division will be free on Uplay PC, allowing you to play through the entirety of the core game, along with all of its free content updates. Naturally, all progress you make during this free period will transfer over if you purchase the full game.
Tom Clancy's The Division – Update December 14th Changelog:
- Fixed some instances with the Xbox controller not working on PC
- Addressed some rare cases with the Fullscreen mode not working
- Some improvements to the audio positioning have been made
- Improvements to high CPU usage cases on PC
- Players losing control of their characters for a brief moment
Updated, I added some benchmark results from GameGPU and Computerbase. Once I have the time I'll see if we can de some internal test runs as well. Right now it is very busy though.
1080p scales OK 4% up-to 8%, 1440p however seems more GPU limited of course. It seems that the perf increases in that resolution fall within 1 or 2 FPS, which can be considered NIL and even random. Overall I'd say the DX12 patch as such seems dissapointing relative in performance.

i have to put ubisoft emails as spam they send me so many trying sell me games last one was assasin creed 3 it was free but on uplay i played the game long time ago anyway and i dont like your crappy uplay service , ubisoft have been selling games from hyped up game tailers getting the pre orders then when the game comes out its half finished then release 5 million patches to try fix it now there gonna give it away free get people download it then hopefully buy it, why not get rid uplay put games on steam or gog games , finish the complete game and test it properly before you release it
