Tiger Lake will be the next stop for Intel's NUCs, first details have now appeared. Intel will not only apply a 28-watt U version of the CPU, it will be integrated with Xe graphics, but will also offer the option of discrete graphics with 6 or 8 GB own storage needs.

Two SO-DIMM slots for up to 64 GB DDR4-3200 are rpesent as well as two M.2 slots hold Optane Memory or SSDs. Thunderbolt is no longer only on the back but also in the front, Tiger Lake is known to be the first solution to offer Thunderbolt 4 support via multiple ports. WiFi 6 is rpesent and a LAN port with up to 2.5 Gbit as well.
