This July 13th, Red Dead Redemption 2 will get DLSS support.
On July 13, Rockstar Games will introduce DLSS support to Red Dead Redemption 2 and Red Dead Online as part of an update that will add the "Blood Money" expansion for online mode.
Users with a GeForce RTX graphics card will be able to experience a better FPS rate in this famous Rockstar game thanks to this update. While the exact amount of increase in performance has yet to be released, recent titles incorporating DLSS, such as Doom Eternal and Rust, have experienced gains ranging from 50% to 100%.
“With the July 13 update, Red Dead Redemption 2 and Red Dead Online for PC will bring NVIDIA DLSS support to all Windows users with eligible NVIDIA graphics cards. The new feature allows you to enjoy improved frame rates and creates spectacular, sharp images. "

nice
I think games that added dlss later on have had better results so far, with the exception of death stranding that nailed it on day one.
imo cp2077 dlss looks a little worse than e.g. what I've personally seen in wolfenstein,or other ones that I've seen in reviews.
it's picking up pace big time, and what matters is that dlss is good enough now they're trying to use it for triple A titles.

I guess it will be a marketing thing, the game work fine in any GPU DLSS capable we will have to wait for the FSR to be implemented to have something that can be used on GPUs that needs upscale.

Should have probably gotten into the game anyway, 3080 is very much capable even without dlss.
