Thermaltake X Comfort Air Gaming Chair Has Active Cooling For Your Bum

Thermaltake X Comfort Air Gaming Chair Has Active Cooling For Your Bum

What is it with the Gaming chair trend? It is being marketed so aggressively that you just "have to" purchase a gaming chair? The newest low is the new Thermaltake X Comfort Air Gaming Chair, this chair has active fans that will cool down your bum, up-to 1.5 Degrees C.

The cooling system inside this chair is based on four fans housed in the base of the chair which has been fitted with perforated leather. Thermaltake mentions this setup system can cool the seat by between 0.6ºC and 1.5ºC. The noise level of the fans is stated as 32 DB(A). Who knows you can RPM regulate the fans with your motherboard right? :)

Jokes aside, the price of this gaming chair ha not reached a new level of stupidity, it starts at 499 USD with the leather version being $550,- The X Comfort Air gaming chair is available in red or black options.

Can get you guys an advice, the entire gaming chair thing exploded and is just silly. Go to Ikea, check out and perhaps get the Markus at a 150 bucks?

Sounds like a silly gimmick. Never felt my bum in need of cooling.

Well according to the thermagraph`s it also cools your back.....dont believe that for one minute, probably be cheaper to buy a gelpad jacket like the F1 drivers use, personally i like my bum nice and warm.

I can see this having some unintended consequences when one lets off some gas during those intense gaming sessions :D

That means your bum is not too big and definitely not too hairy. Those two together in a hot summer's day...

You could also use a normal chair and use a $10 fan pointed at you
