Thermaltake releases AHT200 MicroATX case

Wow, just wow, euhm first word that comes to mind transformers?. Anyway, Thermaltake releases its "AH T200" series of open frame cases compatible with MicroATX, and it has a helicopter motif.

The original open frame case "AH T200" series released by Thermaltake at "2020 Thermaltake Expo" in June is officially announced. It features a helicopter-themed design and is a small model of the "AH T600" series that is also on sale. The supported form factors are MicroATX and Mini-ITX. Two colors, black and white, are available. The basic design of the "AH T600", including the tempered glass face like a helicopter canopy, has been downsized. It has swing-type opening and closing glass panels on the left and right.

A total of 4 cooling fans can be installed, front 120mm / 140mm x 2 and top 120mm / 140mm x 2. The radiator can mount up to 280mm size on the front. In addition, the drive bay layout consists of 3.5 inches x 2 or 2.5 inches x 3. It supports a graphics card up to 320mm, a CPU cooler with a total height of 150mm, an ATX power supply unit with a depth of up to 180mm, and has 5 expansion slots.

The front top I / O is USB3.1 Gen.1 Type-C x 1, USB3.0 x 2, earphone jack x 1. The external dimensions are width 282 mm, depth 551.5 mm, height 444.2 mm, and weight 10.8 kg.

It certainly is polarizing from an aesthetics perspective. It's not something I'd want on, under or behind my desk.

The case is ugly..... And what's with the trend of putting huge obstructions in front of fans? Are case makers really too dumb to figure out that glass, metal and plastic restrict air flow when placed directly in front of fans?

Transformers? Not to me. Give it some razor sharp teeth and you get the Mancubus from Doom.
