The most powerful Intel NUC ever
Well, they certainly can't get any slower haha ? Even if they clock it 1% higher, it would be the most powerful one. The guys over at fanlesstech noticed that Intel is teasing with "The most powerful NUC ever" coming early 2016. (that would be a CES announcement eh ?
The mysterious system will supposedly feature Skylake-infused Iris Pro graphics.
The only Gen9 Iris Pro graphics announced are the Iris Pro graphics 580 (GT4e) with 72 execution units and 128MB of eDRAM. At this time no CPU is attached to this very solution.

These High Count EU chips are never interesting, as they are not meant for portable All-In-One machines.
Currently most interesting chips out there are Cherry Trail 2 top dogs:
Atom x7-Z8700 with 16 EUs @ 200 - 600 MHz
Atom x5-Z8500 with 12 EUs @ 200 - 600 MHz
(Both have finally dual channel memory interface)
While CPU performance is only about 20~30% higher than most common atoms out there till now (Z37xx), those iGPUs have nou 12/16 EUs instead of 4
