The Crysis Remastered Trilogy will be released on October 15th.
Crytek will release the remastered versions of Crysis 2 and 3 on October 15th, following the release of the original editions. These games are then available for purchase individually or as part of a trilogy package deal.
Lighting effects and textures have been improved throughout the remastering process. Crytek claims that the remastered versions will "run between 1080p and 4k" at 60 frames per second. In addition, Crytek has increased the visual appearance of the people, weaponry, and locations in the games they have developed. The multi -player campaigns from the original games are not included in the remasters, nor is the multiplayer from the original games included.
Approximately three months ago, Crytek revealed the Crysis Remastered Trilogy, with the last two sections of the trilogy having never been remastered previously. Crysis: Remastered was launched almost a year ago, and it is a remaster of the original game. PlayStation 4 and 5 platforms, Xbox One and Series systems, Nintendo Switch consoles, and PC users will be able to play the titles starting on October 15. The three games are available as a package for 50 euros, but they can also be purchased individually for 30 euros each.

Crysis 2 wasn't a bad game. It was still worth to play. And it lasted about 8 hours.
Crysis 3 started really well, with lush jungles and open areas to explore and varied ways to engage enemies.
But after the first 2 hours, it got much worse with the levels with the aliens. And then, after another 2 hours, it just ended.
It was a rather short campaign.
That's about crysis 1 as well. Once aliens happened, it got a bit linear but still was fun.
I still think people cry too damn much.
No remster, they cry. Remastering they cry why is it needed.

You missed the point.
People want a remaster. Just not a bad one.
And that is what we got with Crysis remaster.

Didnt they just release 1 remastered? Is this the same thing but the last 2 are remastered as well?
It took me 5 minutes to uninstall that remaster and go back to the original. Not only does it run MUCH better, there is tons more geometric detail so it (the remaster) looks kinda worse imo.
Just start the game and when you land turn right, and look at the rocks between the two version. The 2007 one looks FAR better.

Thats becouse the remastered is based on crappy ps3 version not an original pc version. What a dumb decision.

Just to make a point and to perhaps make some understand my perspective on this: IF (and it's a big IF) they released these new games with level editors/map editors/level design tools...then I would put on my cheerleading outfit and dance a happy dance for my fellow gurus, and possibly, CryTek.
But that is never gonna happen...
