Thank you DHL for destroying a Graphics Card

Packages arrive here any day of the week. UPS, DHL, FedEX, TNT .. we're on a first name basis. Not often things go wrong, in fact almost always all goes flawless except from a delay here and there. So today DHL delivered a package from MSI, it's a new graphics cards that is soon to be announced. Now the carton was already dented as if an elephant actually sat on it. But OMFG, sometimes you just have to wonder with how much care freight is dealt these days. Are you ready to be shocked, have a peek and hit read more.

Now there we go that's not a little dent that's a cooler smashed, PCB bend and broken, little parts and components everywhere ... well done DHL !!

*sighs*

Thats disgraceful!

I got an amp and 7.1 pre-amp today from Emotiva, delivered by Fedex.
It only took 5 days to get here from the US but the heavier box has clearly been mishandled.

It has 2 tie straps round it and it had been picked up very roughly using these instead of the 4 handle holes.
But also the box had been lifted by just 2 handles on each side causing damage.

The result is that not only did the straps cut deeply into the outer box, they also cut into the inner box.
The handle holes were badly torn above the holes as well such that they had to tape up the box, then they picked it up below the handle holes and ripped the box there too !!
The supposedly pristine inner box is a wreck as that suffered the same damage.

Fortunately the amp was well packaged inside so didnt suffer, but not because of their effort.
I'm quite pissed about the state of the inner box.

Military grade my ass! What the hell MSI?

Seriously though, I think Initialised was right. It looks like that card was run over by a forklift.
